Hard to believe this is the 5th anniversary of Macon's off leash dog park.
It seems like just yesterday that I was attending committee meetings to get the park established.
Now there is a steady flow of both two legged and four legged users.
And this weekend there was a doggy costume contest to celebrate.
Along with oodles of spooky decorations.
All these doggies were cute as cake!
And even the ones who didn't care about the contest had fun.

They are soooo cute! We have two dog parks in my town but my dog doesn't really like going!

Love the "old professor"! I think he taught my college world history class.

Those pups are so cute! I bet Georgie would love that park, but he's too naughty to be let off his leash. It's great the cities have a nice place to take their pets.

cute costumes!! although the caterpillar doesn't look too sure about things... good to read the stories, too-- we don't have a dog park yet where I live, but hopefully it's just a couple years in the future... it's so much better than letting dogs off-leash where they can get into trouble!

We have a dog park here, but Chuck would be too scared! I love the cowboy!
