The final part of our Festival of Camellias tour brings us to the delightful wishing well at Massee Lane Gardens near Fort Valley, Georgia.
This darling wishing well was a delightful surprise after leaving the small Formal Camellia Garden.
The remains of an old brick wall and a pair of iron gates are nearby.
These awesome gates look even better from the other side. Even though ivy is invasive here in Georgia it looks so pretty growing up the wall.
Such a pretty view!
This is a very peaceful spot looking back at the American Camellia Society Headquarters building.
See that path running along the fence? Don't you just want to wander down there to see where it goes?
You'll have to visit this garden to explore it because we're not heading down that way today.
Love this rustic outbuilding with the millstone threshold and the iron supports for the gable.
Lovely old farm bell.
Such a pretty spot of color among the pines.
Peaceful and pretty.
But what's this I spy on this ramble? It's my belove Louise Coker growing outside! Must have one!
Back to our serene stroll around the grounds...
...I spy the copula through the trees.
Thank you so much for travelling along wth me on this tour of Massee Lane Gardens. I hope these images will encourage you to visit this delightful garden or another public garden near you. And may all your garden wishes come true.
Oh Felicia, I too love iron gates, brick walls and pillars, pops of pink amidst brown and little towers peaking through the trees. these pictures made me smile! THank you
