One good thing about the mild winter we're having here in Georgia is that walks in the woods are a lot of fun. For one thing, with most of the leaves carpeting the ground you can see quite a ways off into the distance. And it is very beautiful indeed.
I love all the detail of rich textures in the plant life. There is eye candy everywhere out there.
The dogs come out to the woods with us a lot and they seem to really enjoy it. Lucky is certainly looking alert and alive having just rolled in something foul. Never a dull moment I tell ya!
Gorgeous photos...wishing you a very happy new year.

My friend's dog used to find the deadest thing out there and roll in it just like that! What a lovely spot, and I hope youhave a wonderful happy healthy new year!

Oh...the pictures are wonderful...it's been mild but cold here, and I am thinking of getting out in the wilderness myself...

So pretty! I had to laugh at the winter title, though. We have been so white lately in Wisconsin! Just posted a picture on my blog of our latest snow cover.
I love Lucky's spots.

Your pictures are great! I love to go walking on my Dad's place, but I'll have to admit that it has been awhile since I've done that.

Hi Felica,
I had purchased Lisa the Macon Mutt for my daughter for Christmas and she loves her. We even went to the sold column on your etsy and she read the story of her. Such sweet things you make. Good wishes to you for the new year.
Our dog that looks like yours loves to roll in the gooey stuff. Luckily they are white and you can usually spot it before you smell it.
