Thank you everyone for the owl love yesterday. I appreciate it! And thank you everyone who visited the Plush Team site and voted for your favorite plush creature. Results should be out later today.
I had to drive up to Athens, Georgia yesterday on business and managed a twenty minute stop to check out the antique stores in Madison, Georgia.
I hadn't been there since last fall when I made another day trip up there.
You might not think you can get much browsing and shopping done in twenty minutes but you can if you know where to go.
Attic Treasures is a small shop tucked in on the main square that has a little bit of absolutely everything. And I do mean everything y'all! Dinosaur eggs, civil war bullets, jewelry, gobs of marbles, Uncle Remus memorabilia, you name the vintage item and they've probably got it.
Its worth a stop in if you're passing through there. Happy Valentines Day!
Oh, you know I'm so jealous - I love Madison!
Keeping my fingers crossed for you for the Plush Team contest. I really did adore the little pair of yours that was featured. Too cute.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Aaack! Look at all those THIMBLES!!! Doesn't look like there's much in the way of sterling, but that little holder is awesome -- I've never seen one of those. And thank you for the up close and personal shot of Ms. Mannequin (sp?) and her perky breasticles! LOL!!!

oh, ...but, but.........how could you get a chance to go through enough in only 20 minutes? I'd be there hours...just looking even if I didn't buy a darn thing!
I love poking through stuff like that.

Oh my gosh...I was just looking at your post and thinking...gee, that antique shop looks jut like one I was in last year when I was visiting my parents down in Georgia. LOL I spent about 4 hours at Attic Treasures and bought a whole bunch of those Civil War era marbles. Small world! :)
