What a fabulous Labor Day weekend! Three days off in a row never felt so good.
I squeezed in a lot of fun this weekend including a visit to Panola Mountain State Park.
Its a great place for walking or riding your bike.
Of course I always seek out pretty little wildflowers.
And what a bonus that some of these flowers are tucked up next to pretty rocks.
Even ran across a plum tree recently knocked over by some bad weather. The little plums were still hanging on tightly.
And wow! I had to stop to photograph this incredible weed.
I did a double take when I saw this little fellow hanging out on this leave. Isn't he incredible?!
What a beautiful place indeed.
felicia - beautiful photos, as usual! visit my blog... there's a little surprise for you!!!

Holy cow, your photos are amazing! Especially that last one. I love how you captured the reflection of the clouds in the water.
Back to school today for me...hopefully back to some sort of a regular routine too! :)

This is a beautiful park. My new camera is what has inspired me to walk outside more until the weather gets chilly.

I love seeing what mother nature is doing in other parts of the world. It looks like you had a gourgeous weekend. Ok, call me dumb...but what is that little guy on the leaf? A bee?

Yeah... I was thinking the same thing when I saw that caterpillar... I recognized those as eggs on his back and, um, that's not good. I, er, hope he's okay...
