Wow wee, y'all, ICE Atlanta was fun! Thank you all for the positive thoughts for a successful show. It worked!
A big thank you to the organizers and volunteers who made this show happen! Congratulations on a successful indie craft event.
Hard to believe it turned cold and blustery the night before here in Georgia. I enjoyed being inside in the snuggly warmth and seeing the autumn leaves of the trees whipping around in the wind through the huge windows.
I took loads of pictures for those who couldn't attend the event and this is my Fluffy Flowers booth in all it's glory. I'm used to setting up a ten by ten foot booth so it was a bit of a challenge for me to squeeze my creatures into this space. I decided I had to go vertical but still several creatures had to stay behind.
But I couldn't leave these cuties at home. You might remember last time how excited they became to attend the Indie Craft Experience.
Y'all, there were so many fabulous and talented artists at this event that it would be impossible for me to show them all to you. Plus, I was rushing around so much that unfortunately many of my pictures didn't turn out. But you can check out the full list here on the ICE site.
Delightful potted plants from Greenware Design.
Ivey Handcrafted had lots of fun things in her booth!
Jones Handmade Goods had some of the cutest pottery ever!
I wasn't the only plush maker there. Fattycakes had some adorable critters too.
Aren't these owls cute as cake? Paige Twelve's booth was fun of delightful stuff.
I love the sense of humor in Orbitpie's fabric choices for her awesome bags.
Delightful upcycling from Patina!
Four Footed Art, love it!
Oh, these are so fab, from LiL Sprouts Knits.
An extra special shout out to Ashley of Hoobaleedoos. Not only are her bibs, scarves, and blankets fabulous and expertly sewn but she and her husband are sweet as cake! Her booth was on the other side of mine so we shared the limited space behind our booths. Nothing like being packed in like sardines to let you get to know a person :) And man, crafters are some of the most awesome folks around!
I also want to mention a couple of other fabulous booth neighbors whose photos, unfortunately, didn't turn out. Fresh handmade soaps & gifts has got to be one of the sweetest folks around and MVL saved my patootie when my booth nearly crashed to the ground during setup. Thanks ladies, it was fun!
Everything in Radatrix's booth gave me a giggle.
My boyfriend's pillows were for sale and one of the highlights of the day was when two ladies asked to photograph their Blythe dolls with him. Shoot yeah! Not only did I let them take the picture I got them to take a photo with my camera too. I'd never seen a Blythe doll in person so it was a lot of fun to finally hold one in my hands.
I met a lot more folks then are mentioned here but, unfortunately, the day passed in a blur. I only escaped my booth long enough to acquire a fabulous necklace from Yes Please Studio and covet a necklace at Dana Leblanc Designs. The toughest part is always the breaking down and packing up and I enjoyed a shared moment of "ugh" with Cathy Dailey.
Overall it was a totally fabulous event! Thank you to all the folks who came out to support independent crafters. Your patronage was so appreciated.
If you're in the area check out these upcoming craft events: Athens Indie Craftstravaganzaa in Athens, Georgia and hand.craft.it in Madison, Georgia.
Your booth looked awesome! Congrats and thanks for all the eye candy. :)
