I'm catching up with garden tours that I took last year. I toured several gardens last year in Henry County, Georgia during their Master Gardener's tour.
This first garden was an immaculate one on a wooded lot.

Love the different textures and the addition of natural stones.
I had no idea hedges could be so neat!
Love the sweeping curve of the lawn.
Loved this sculptural tree.
This raised bed was about the coolest thing I'd ever seen.
The use of the tree logs and stones is perfect for this woodlen setting.
Don't you want to copy this awesome idea? That is ajuga growing there. I planted some in my back garden this year and am very pleased with it's performance.
There were a few vegetables in the raised bed but I loved that it was surrounded by ornamental plants.
Another great combination of fern and Japanese maple.
The sweep of this path calls to you to find out what's down there.

Ok, yes, I just want to hang out right here and read a book. So relaxing!
The owners didn't know the name of this hydrangea but it's blooms were stunning.
Don't know yet if Henry County is having a garden tour this year or not but as soon as I know, you'll know! In the mean time check out my list of Georgia Garden Tours around the state so you can plan ahead.
