We're revisiting Indian Springs, Georgia today. Last time we saw the fabulous rose garden. Today we're touring the Whimsical Gardens.
You enter through this old building.
It is almost completely fenced in so you can let the kids run and explore.
This sheep may be a bit wide eyed due to his broken off leg!
Scamper enjoyed exploring every single nook and cranny.
Coll old iron bed. I hope they will turn it into a "flower bed".
The blooming tulips were everywhere!
See those tulips way up there?
Jasmine was blooming on the archways.
Daffodils were beautiful!
Love how this Sky Pencil accentuates the path.
The whole place is terraced on a hill so you can often look back over delightful views.
Love a path that makes you want to follow it.
Even more beautiful tulips. And a gazebo to sit and catch the breeze.
Actually, there are lots of benches and sitting places here.
I'd love to have this pergola in my backyard!
Eucalyptus tree. Did you know they grow well in Georgia?
Is that an outhouse? Nah, just a little tool shed.Wasn't that tour simply stunning? Maybe it's time for you to plan a trip to Indian Springs, Georgia. Indian Springs State Park, the oldest state park in the whole of the USA, is there.
I love taking garden tours especially in the spring when the ground is just awakening. Thank you. I have to say Scamper is a very well behaved dog. I have known dogs that would just have gone wild jumping through the tulips. A gardener must have a well behaved dog!
